Accessibility Statement
At Valley Acupuncture, I am dedicated to providing safe, respectful, and inclusive care for everyone in our community. I warmly welcome people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations, as well as people living with disability or chronic health conditions.
The clinic is wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry and a spacious, adaptable treatment area to ensure ease of access and movement. Furniture can be adjusted, and supports such as pillows or cushions are always available to enhance your comfort.
Most acupuncture treatments only require access to the arms, legs, head, or neck, so full disrobing is rarely necessary.
When additional access is needed, privacy and dignity are always maintained with professional draping and coverings.
Treatments can be modified to suit your health needs, mobility, or preferences, and alternative techniques such as cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion can be offered if acupuncture needles are not suitable.
Clear, compassionate communication is at the heart of my practice. You are welcome to bring a carer, support person, or interpreter to your appointment, and written information can be provided in accessible formats if requested. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact me before your visit so we can make any necessary arrangements together.
Valley Acupuncture is committed to creating a welcoming space where all people feel safe, respected, and supported on their health journey.
